EARLY SUMMER PROGRAMME 2004

The popular dressage lessons with Pippa Teggin are continuing on Saturday evenings at Glandoran, Gorey, by kind permission of George & Pam Chapman.  The times for the next 3 classes will be; 8th & 15th May, 4.30pm and 5.30pm, 22nd May 5.30pm and 6.30pm.  The earlier time in each case is for the more advanced group.  All are welcome to join these lessons. There will be no sessions on 29th May or 5th June OR 12th June. Please contact John Martin if you want to join in.

20th June - Show jumping is being held at Kelly’s, Clologue, near Camolin.  Please book with Kathleen Denby before 10th June.  The cost will be around €20, depending on the numbers who register for this.

2nd June – there will be cross country schooling at Brian Maguire’s Ballycanew Riding Club for all standards, starting at 7pm.

8th June – a mini one day event will be held at Ballycanew Riding Club for juniors and young horses, starting at 6pm.

27th June – there will be Combined Training, also at Ballycanew Riding Club, starting at 2pm.  Please book with Kathleen Denby before 21st June for this, and ring her for your dressage time on the Friday or Saturday, 6pm – 7pm.

Jumping rallies will commence at the end of May; please phone Kathleen Denby or Christian O’Morchoe later in the month for details.

A Road Safety Test will be held in June.  If you are interested in taking this test, please give your name to Kate Donohue (054 89355) before the end of May.  This test is for members who have already passed their ‘C’ test.

A reminder that Dressage Ireland is holding ‘Silver Spurs’ dressage training for all levels fortnightly at Marlton Stud in Wicklow.  They will hold a 3 day dressage camp on 20th, 21st & 22nd July at Marlton Stud.  Please call Pippa Teggin for details on 0402 37674.

NB  Pony Club Camp this year will be a week later than usual : Sat 3rd – Weds 7th July.  Further details in the summer programme.
