to view many beautiful and colourful sub-tropical plants in this recently restored "Walled Garden" - visit the Horizontal Maze and Arboretum, with water features and shrub borders.

- Fishing season gets underway. Regular trips on fully equiped boats with experienced local fishermen can be easily arranged.

- Kilrush Maritime Festival.
The festival provides both indoor and outdoor entertainment. Events include: Millennium regatta;
sailing events in the marina; live music in the square; local pub talent and singing competition.

- Scattery Island & Shannon dolphin tours daily.

- Eigse Mrs Crotty - Traditional Music Festival
National and local concertina players, instrumentalists and singers providing traditional music and entertainment throughout the month.
