HOW TO FIND US
Kilrush is situated on the Shannon estuary, in the West of County Clare.
We are 27 miles from Ennis, the County town, 39 miles from Shannon International Airport, and 5 miles from Killimer (the Clare side of the Shannon Car Ferry).
The principal roads are the N68 from Ennis, and N69 from either Kilkee or Killimer.
The Shannon Ferry, which operates from Killimer to Tarbert in County Kerry, offers a direct route up or down the West Coast, linking the Kerry mountains to the Cliffs of Clare without the need to detour through Limerick. The ferry runs daily, from early in the morning to 9 at night. Departures are hourly, on the hour from Clare, and the half-hour from Kerry. During the peak season, two ferries offer a half-hourly service.
