Air Pressure 4 Experiment: To take another look at what air pressure can do. Materials:
You will need: Method: What you have to do: 1) Place the card on top of the cup or glass leaving a gap of about 2 cm. 2) Carefully place the coin on the edge of the card. 3) Now try to blow the coin off the card and into the glass/cup. 4) You will have a better chance of succeeding if you blow directly through the gap between the card and glass/cup - see diagram (a picture will follow).
Result:
The card flips up and the
coin falls into the glass/cup.
