Sixth Class were asked how they felt that flight would evolve over the next millennium or so. These are some of their ideas:
Flying Chairs
I think you will sit in the chair and press a button or pull a lever and you will fly up in the air and you will have little control buttons on the arm of the chair so that you can direct yourself. There will also be seatbelts so that you don't fall out!
Flying Transport
I think that there will be a whole flying city and that you will fly around and be quite safe. You would have to have a license. The flying transport will have special lift wings so as not to cause so much air pollution.
I also think that in the future, they will invent much faster planes with more space and you will be able to move about more, to prevent blood clots in your legs and the rest of your body and they will fly really fast and you won't even know you're flying. You will also be able to get to places like Australia and America in under twenty minutes. Also, the food will be nicer and not taste like rubber!
Planes we have now will seem really boring in the year 2500. Some of the things I think they are going to invent are flying cars, flying bikes and much, much more.
Flying Cars
I think they will have invented flying cars in the year 2500 that will travel a lot faster than normal cars. They will also hold a lot more people. This will prevent traffic in the air and it will also prevent the amount of traffic in the world as well.
Rocket Plane
I know that sounds daft, but it could happen. A bike that can fly means that it is safer for pedestrians to use the footpath. You know yourself how hard it is to cycle on the footpath with pedestrians walking on it. This bike could save so many accidents!
I also think they will bring out a plane that will have more speed and power. It will get you to a country far away in just 40 minutes. It will also have more space for your body to move. This will prevent blood clots in your legs and body.
