Ursuline Convent Secondary School Table Tennis Club SEASON 2000-2001 INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVMENTS: This year the Ursulines have been, well, kicking ass!!! Sandra Morris, whos Under 17 and been on Munster Under 12s and Under 14 teams, is currently ranked in Munster. Ger Wycherley, Under 14, is ranked number 9 in Ireland and joint 5th in Munster. Kelby Duggan is ranked 4th in Munster Under 14 and joint 13th in Ireland. Hayley Collins is also joint 5th Under 14 in Munster! We also hope to have a couple of players on the interpros teams this year also. Our school teams have also been doing really well! Our A Team came 2nd in their divison and our B Team did quite well in their divison also. We'd also like to add a personal achievment to our coach, Gus Coughlan, whos finally moved into his own flat after living with his mummy and daddy for over 30 years!!! We're so proud...*sniff!sniff!* A Team consists of: Sandra Morris, Ger Wycherley, Kelby Duggan, Hayley Collins and Aoife O Donovon. The B Team consists of: Rachael Landy, Elaine Coughlan, Cathy O Sullivan and Aileen Callanan. Gus Coughlan is the Ursuline Table Tennis Club Coach. Gus has many years of experience as a player & coach. He also has umpired at International Level. SEASON 1999-2000 Our A team WON Division 7 in the A.I.B. Schools LEAGUE. Our A team ALSO WON the A.I.B. Schools CUP AND as if that wasn't good enough, Our B team WON Division 8 in the A.I.B. Schools LEAGUE AND because our A team is just SO BRILLIANT (only capital letters will do!) Our A team was moved in to Division 4 The A team consists of these BRILLIANT players: Sandra Morris, Michelle O'Sullivan, Aoife O'Donovan, Jenna Mehigan-Collins, Amanda Murphy. Our B team consists of these BRILLIANT players: Deirdre Casey, Clioanna Murphy, Kate O'Donnell, Carrie O'Regan, Ciara Levis. We ALSO have a C-team (first years) this year (who are also BRILLIANT): Kelby Duggan, Helena Dwyer, Rachel Landy, Stephanie O'Donovan, Sarah Lyons, Karen O'Sullivan, Ger Wycherley INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENTS Sandra Morris was ranked No.2 U-14's last season in Munster. She was also on the winning Munster team at the Interpros in Cavan, (The first U-14 girls to win for Munster!) Jenna Mehigan-Collins was ranked No.1 U-12's last season in Munster.
