Monster Easter Raffle
Many thanks to all who participated in our Easter Raffle, which yielded €542.50. This will go towards the running costs of the Computer Room and the very necessary purchase of new Chess Sets.
We would also like to formally thank all of our sponsors, parents who donated prizes for the raffle and, in particular, Super Valu in Balally, The Coachhouse, Ballinteer and Superquinn in Ballinteer who donated the Giant Easter Eggs and hampers which were our main prizes.

Computer Room Update

We are currently in the process of networking our Computer Room and significant progress has been made to date. We are, however, in need of expertise in the actual networking process and we would appeal to any technically-minded parents who may have a couple of hours free time to contact Jean-Paul at 087-2314157. All help gratefully accepted.

Parents' Voluntary Contribution.

A sincere thanks to all families who have returned their Voluntary contributions. To date, more than 50% have paid and we encourage those, who may have forgotten, to send in their contribution as soon as possible. Reminders were distributed to all families recently and may be 'rotting' in schoolbags awaiting rescue!
Major redecoration has taken place already but there are still many other improvements necessary. With your support, we will try to ensure that our school environment is well maintained and pleasant for our pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Clann Cluana

The highlight of Seachtain na Gaeilge this year was the visit of top theatre group Clann Cluana to the school on Wednesday 13th March. It was a great opportunity to see live theatre and it went down a treat with the Senior classes.
We look forward to seeing them again in the not too distant future.
Cadbury's Quiz
School Heats for the Annual Parents' Assn. Quiz will take place on Thursday, 18th April in the School Hall at 1 pm. Teams of four pupils from Rang 4 upward will compete for the honour of representing the school in the Dublin finals.
Gaeilge
Over the next few months you may notice 'Abairt na Seachtaine' posters around the school. This is part of a conscious effort by staff, pupils and parents to increase the usage of Gaeilge in the school environment and indeed in the home. The phrases are very simple and well known to the children and the intention is to use them as much as possible in a functional way. Please help out by encouraging your children to use the 'Abairtí na Seachtaine' sa bhaile as well as ar scoil.
Go raibh maith agaibh.
Abairt na Seachtaine 1:
Dia duit - Dia's Muire duit!
