The Media Research Facility is Phutyle International's 'artistic" wing, dealing with all matters of audio/viaual communication in the spheres of fine art, graphics and multimedia. The MRF was founded not just to produce artistic work for Phutyle International, but also to conduct research into art theory, practice, usage and effect. The MRF works closely with semTEXT, Phutyle International's publishing department in producing Phutilitarian information media, such as this web site. The MRF also runs the National Gallery of Phutopia as a showcase for Phutilitarian art.
