U2 U2 are one of the biggest names in music to come out of Ireland. They began there famous years in 1979 with the release of their debut album "Boy". The album sold millions world wide. On the release of their second album they were voted the best band in the world. Since then they have released more than seven albums in which all sold extreeemly well. In 1992 their Zooropa tour was one of the biggest and most profitable tours of all time. U2's hits include "Where the streets have no name" "With or Without you" "Desire" and "On New Years Day". Today U2 are still one of the best bands in the world. And dispite the lead singer Bono's fortune he still lives in Ireland.
