Trip to Kilmarnock

Four Fifth years: Sandra Davis, Louise Flood, Patricia Everitt, Charnjeet Gill were chosen to attend for mock interviews in Grange Academy, Kilmarnock, Scotland and spent four enjoyable days staying with host families.

WOSL is a Comenius project - students from Luxembourg, Ireland and Scotland attend mock interviews in Grange Academy Kilmarnock They are expected to present themselves in a European language and conduct the interview in their own language.

The teachers enjoying the Scottish weather!

Goal Fast

The Fifth years have, so far, collected £1,500 for GOAL. This year the GOAL projects will help the victims of the hurricanes in Honduras and Guatemala.

A representative from GOAL comes in every year to give a talk to the school and to show us how the money will be spent. This helps to motivate the girls (and some of their teachers also) doing the 24-hour fast and the generous people who sponsor them.

Friendship Bracelets

The First years did their bit to help the poor children of Chile by selling the 'friendship bracelets' made by the street children themselves. They raised £159 for Amnesty International - well done to them!

Ms Breheny, who organised both projects is also responsible for organising the Goal Fast every year.
