Greystones became in 1999 the new southern terminus of the Dart. The station was opened in 1854 as Delgany station. Greystones is situated between Bray and Kilcoole. As the line between Bray and Greystones is single track only and as the Dart has to share this track daily with six intercity trains, four suburban trains and some freight trains the frequency of the Dart service between Bray and Greystones is limited to an average of one train an hour in each direction.

Greystones Station has two platforms which are connected with a footbridge. The station building has been renovated and was re-opened during the summer of 2001.

Trains:
Dart trains from and to Dublin Connolly
All suburban en intercity trains between Arklow and Dublin Connolly

Journey times:
To Dublin Connolly: 52 minutes (Dart); 41 minutes (Intercity)
To Bray: 11 minutes
To Kilcoole: 5 minutes
To Arklow: 47 minutes
