THE FIRST
CONVENTION
The First Convention of the Gaelic clubs of
the County Wicklow was held in the Town Hall, Wicklow, on the 26th December
1886, at 1.00 o'clock. Pursuant to a circular received by Messrs. Davin, Power,
Frewen and D. O'Riordan, provisional committee for reconstruction of G.A.A.,
there attended: A. Hyland, President County Committee in the Chair. Other
members of the county committee present were Laurence Cullen, J. Byrne, J.
Mulligan, J. Kelly, M. Travers and P. McDonnell, Hon. Secretary.
