FSViewer: FSViewer.app-0.2.0 has been released. Some of the changes include DnD and a populated menu! More info at the FSViewer page. wmStock: I've started work on my first dock app, wmStock, using the dockapplib.

Web Pages: It's been a whole month since I've worked on these pages!! MLV: Check out the project page for a status report. Window Maker: Version 0.20.2 has been out for a while. FSViewer: I've added another project. It's to develop a NeXT File Viewer lookalike. Have a look at the page for more info.

Web Pages: I've been developing these pages using XEmacs and viewing them under Netscape v4. I was using a table tag (BACKGROUND) which wasn't supported unver v3. I've modified the pages to fix this. I don't know if this fix works with IE 3/4. MLV: The viewer will now update the displayed list if the setup changes. Also some error detecting takes place when the setup has changed. Next task is to write the setup back to the rc file. Window Maker: WindowMaker has been renamed to Window Maker. More information is available at the web site or in the mailing list archives.

Web Pages: I've changed the background colour from #fffff to #ffffff. Originally, I forgot one 'f'. MLV: The modem log viewer now reads in an rc file. It also has a NeXT look because I'm using GTKStep, a patch on GTK+ to provide a NeXT look.

Web Pages: I've updated the webpages to improve the contrast for the nav bar and to also correct the javascript errors the occur when using older browsers (e.g. IE3 or Nav 2). WindowMaker: Version 0.19.3 of Windowmaker was released last week.

Projects: I've added in another project: Screen Savers. I've been asked to produce a screen saver based on an Irish Rallying theme. Hopefully it will turn out ok.

Web Pages: I've updated the <META> tags on all the pages. I've added a mention of WMMail in the apps page. These Pages went on-line at 10:30pm! WindowMaker: Version 0.18b1 has been released. This fixes a bug in the WINGs libraries. Check out the site for more details. EMGRec: I found two programs that may be useful for this project. XSpectrum is a realtime oscilloscope, I may be able to use the code for acquiring the sound input. Geg (GTK+ Equation grapher) seems to have a good graph widget, I still have to run it but the sceenshot looked good. I might be borrowing some code from both of them. PPP: Updated PPP howto. It now reflects the new method I use to get one line. I added in the use of another script to handle errors better. Also, I found out what protocol TINet uses, its CHAP.

Web Pages: I've removed the movies page and replaced it with this page. Due to this I had to redo the nav. bar gifs as I forgot to keep a blank copy. So now the background is slightly darker. I also noticed that I've been using the <META> description tag as the keywords tag.

MLV: Re-wrote the cost calculation for the Modem Log Viewer. It should calculate the correct cost across different peak times in any one 24 hour period. It can be easily extended to cover days, months etc. EMGRec: The FYP rewrite is still on going. Currently I'm writing the expose event function for the game window. WindowMaker: WindowMaker version 0.18 is has been released. Apparently version 1.0 is around the corner.
