Island Cottage Cookery School


Probably the smallest Cookery School in the world. Specializing in 2 Day Cookery Courses for two people, with an overnight stay. Ideal for short breaks, using Heir Island as a back drop with its beautiful panoramic scenery, beaches and walks. The only criteria necessary for attending is enthusiasm for cooking. Suits all levels.


April, May, June, September, October and November

2 DAY COURSE
For two people.
Day 1: Consists of a morning practical, lunch, the afternoon is free, followed by evening class, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Consists of a morning practical and lunch. Students can invite family and friends to join them for this lunch at a very reasonable charge per person. Departure late afternoon.

INTENSIVE COOKERY COURSE (July and August)
For one person.
During the restaurant season there is the possibility of a four day intensive cookery course on Heir island. Wednesday to Saturday inclusive, the student works on a one to one basis with John. Accommodation is included.

SPECIALTY DAY COURSE (July and August)
For two people.
For example: Thursday morning Intensive Duck Class. Preparation of eight to ten ducks: duck stock, duck pâté, duck fat, confit de gésier, duck stew etc.
