Following our wins in the Tidy Schools and Environmental Project we decided to spend the money on yard games for the children.

The school was very fortunate to have two "Artists in Residence", our classroom assistant Ms.Sinéad Fitzgerald, and one of our parents Mrs. Orin Little, who designed and painted games on the tarmacadam in the yard.  Helped by the sixth class pupils the ladies painted beautiful games in the yard. Hopscotch, snakes and ladders, and basketball markings have been added for the benefit of the pupilsBe warned footprints have appeared in strange places in the school.

A basketball net has been erected for the junior end of the yard and all these games have proven to be very popular with the children.

Thank you for all your hard work.
