 Music Matters began its first Internet presence with a two-page sub site in 1998, which continued to run until late 2000. The present site replaces a transitional site which was developed at that time to run until Summer, 2001.

Introduction -- The objective of an Internet presence for Music Matters is thus:
  • The easing of administrative difficulties due to the speed and ease of imparting information over the internet.
  • Placing a viable and attractive offer on the internet for browsers searching for music schools in the east Galway region.
  • To provide a viable means of communication between Music Matters and its students and to offer a platform for information regarding student success and music published by its teachers.
  • To provide a viable means of communication between Music Matters and other music organisations, from Ireland and abroad.
  • To act as a constant source of information for those interested in learning about music and musical instruments.
Features -- The Music Matters Online website is optimised for Javascript enabled Internet Explorer browsers 4+. Netscape users may experience some difficulties with navigation and design. This site is suitable on Win3X, 95, 98, 2000, M, NT and MacOS. Features include Javascript navigation, and cgi options.
