Accompanist

Eleanor Malone is currently a lecturer in the Piano department at the Cork School of Music. She also pursues an active performance career, concentrating mainly on ensemble and accompaniment.

Eleanor has been the recipient of the Alois Fleishmann prize, awarded to graduates of the Music Department of University College Cork, who are judged to have made an outstanding contribution to musical life in Ireland.

Eleanor has toured with and accompanied the Choir on many occasions over the years, most recently on our very successful trip to New York and on our album, “Rhythm of Life”
