In 1998 we kept track of all the hills we climbed, and by keeping a running total of the altitudes, we eventually climbed Everest - but without the frostbite! We found this to be a good way to encourage ourselves to persist whith our walks even when the weather was not ideal.

Mount Everest is 29,028 ft high. At the end of February our total was 7,919 ft At the end of April our total was 31,017 ft So we achieved our challenge in only four months!
