This climb is very close to Dublin - the city can be seen in the distance once the summit has been reached. It is called Kilakee and is very popular with Dublin's walkers. |

This pleasant walk is up through some woods with a good open stretch at the top - unfortunately it is prone to mists, so it is often qute difficult to locate the actual "Prince William's Seat" |

This is the famous memorial to J.P.Malone, one of the pioneers of way-marked walking in Ireland. This was reputed to be his favourite walk, and his memorial certainly acts as a good resting place. |

Possibly the most popular of all the Wicklow Way sections Djouce, can be climbed from several angles, but whichever route is chosen the view from the top is sensational. |

It is surprising how seldom it rains on our walks - however, the raincoat is excellent for keeping out the wind. This is beside Crone Wood - one of the first walks I did. |
