2005/2006 - A Year in Pictures
October | November | December | January | February | March
Fourth Class are doing a project on pets - focusing particularly on pet welfare. On Friday, 24th February, they had a petday. The class became a little zoo-like and I believe, all inmates behaved impeccably. Their project is near completion - last year 4th were lucky enough to win a widescreen TV and DVD player for their project on rainforests. |
Ivan
Shirley, one of the parents of Sixth Class, gave a terrific talk to
the children of Sixth on how our circulatory system works - he even
had a false arm that is normally used to teach students how to take
blood samples. |

St Patrick's Day Celebrations 2006
St Patrick's Day 2006! Children arrived at school wearing the green - and what creativity some of them showed!! We had a bit of fun and prizes were awarded to the best dressed pupils in each class. The day finished with a Céilí Mór between the children of 4th and 6th. |
Two rather exhausted teachers take a quick break!
4th Class participated in a project on Animal Welfare. Lots of effort went into the final result and the sponsors of the project (Bank of Ireland) awarded them with a digital camcorder and CD player for the school. Very well done 4th Class and Mrs. Malseed! |
