We’ve had a busy month in second class and have been learning lots of new and exciting things!! We’ve read a brilliant book called “Cows are Vegetarians” by Siobhan Parkinson. We reviewed the book, written about our favourite characters and even designed a new cover for the book. We’ve been out and about in the yard and garden doing some bird watching. Magpies and crows were the most spotted but we did manage to see a sparrow and wren in the garden. We looked at all the books about birds from our library and discovered some fantastic bird facts. |
A class member's favourite type of weather! |
We used handprints + college to make this bird! |
We’ve learnt all about weather and where all our lovely rain comes from. We’ve looked at how our climate differs from climates in other countries. Then we designed and made windsocks in art. We were delighted when Coco and Jillian came to visit from Dogs Trust. We learnt lots of information about how to take the very best care of our four legged friends! |
