Review: Sev Trekking... (Updated June '99) Sev Trek is an extra-ordinary site (It has to be Australian of course!!!). The title, a Cartoon Satire. Indeed it is. Random oddities or scenes are taken from the series, and humourously changed around. The punchlines from the Cartoons attempt to explain (Humourously) some of our questions about Star Trek. Why do Klingoffs (Klingons) have wrinkly foreheads now, when they didn't in the original series. Find out the real reason. It is a combination of John Cook's excellent cartooning, and the punchlines. These are submitted by YOU, the normal net denizen, or perhaps you are already a Sevilian. Many other comic strips are at the Sev site, Sev Sci-Fi may be of interest, incorporating Sev Wars, The Sev Files, Sevylon 5, and others. Visit this hilarious site now, has to be 4 star Gold in LinkZone. |

Review: Here, There & ... (Updated June 1999) This site attempts to pull all its bits together in a menu, but unfortunately, it is undoubtedly a pain in the neck to navigate. A pity, as complaints aside, this is a very complete and comprehensive site, with overviews on each Star Trek series and their characters, along with appropriate images. Interesting to note here that there is a section devoted to Star Trek The Animated Series. (Which I hear, may be becoming Canon). There is huge banks of images and sounds accompanying each series, along with log files and crew records: There is a very poor technical section, and an incomplete A-Z Database. Also a nice section with promo posters from all Nine Star Trek Movies. An interesting element in the Stellar pictures, of space as we know it. There is also a large section with Desktop Themes, Icons, Fonts and Wallpaper Finally there is a news section. With much tidying up this would be 4 star GOLD. Visit this site now, ranked 4 star in LinkZone. |
