Awesome!!, December 1, 2003
Reviewer: summerrain11 from Houston, TX USA
951 questions and answers!! This book was essential to my passing the NCBTMB the first time. I learned a great deal from this book and well as from Volumes 2 and 3. I was surprised at the number of test questions about Traditional Chinese Medicine. This book provides a great deal of information on that topic.

Great Study Guide for the NCETMB, Must Buy!, May 27, 2003
A reader from San Diego, CA
I found this book extremely helpful for the national certification test (NCETMB). The questions were of similiar type to the national test. This study guide gave me confidence and helped me get rid of some of my test anxiety. I also used Volume 2 (Clincal Pathology and Recognition of Various Conditions)ISBN: 0971999651 and Volume 1 (Human Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology)ISBN: 0971999643. I highly recommend these 3 study guides for the national test. I found them to be the best.

Reader Review
Mosby Review Guide, June 4, 2002
Reviewer: A reader from MI
Wow! What a wonderful concept by Mosby to finally have a study guide for the National Certification Exam. This book is unlike any other in the fact that it hits every possible question type that you could encounter while taking the exam. This book was great in the sense that it allowed me to see where I was lacking, so therefore I could check over the material that I was less adequate in. I liked the information given on the different question types such as factual recall, clinical reasoning ect... It helped me to understand how to pass the National Exam. Therefore I am happy to give this book an astounding rating because it is something that has assisted me through my career. Thank you!

Reader Review
Good reference for the boards, May 24, 2003
A reader from New York, NY United States
This is a good reference for the NCETMB (National Certification Test). It gives summaries of a lot of information for things needed to know for the NCETMB. I was also recommended another few study guides for the NCETMB by other massage therapists who passed the NCETMB the first time. I'm glad I took their advice because these study guides were just awesome for the type of questions to prepare for on the NCETMB. The study guides I'm referring to is in three volumes that are the following and are available on amazon:
The Ultimate Study Guide for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork: Key Review Questions and Answers Volume 1 (isbn: 0971999643), Volume 2 (isbn: 0971999651), and Volume 3 (isbn: 097199966X) by Patrick Leonardi
These last three study guides helped me with passing the national certification test easily the first time. I highly recommend all four books. It's well worth the money.
