Education

The society believes that one of the most important aspects of its work is the education of people of all ages on various aspects of animal welfare. In particular we believe that the key to animal welfare rests with educating our children at a young age. We visit schools, Scout and Girl Guidegroups, Youth clubs etc. with a PowerPoint slide show that encourages young people to think and act responsibly in all their dealings with animals.

We have various education packages available on animal welfare and would like to hear from teachers who want to borrow such materials. We firmly belief that only by on-going education we can further the cause of animal welfare amongst the future generations of our country. Every year we spend time and effort in educating people on the effects of giving a Pet as a Christmas present. Only by continuing to educate will we be able to create a better and kinder world for all animals who share this planet with us.
