M.S.Readathon

 

Well done to all the girls in 2nd Class, 4th Class and 6th Class who took part in the M.S.Readathon.  We had great fun reading all those books and it was for such a deserving cause.

Camogie

Another great success at the end of 2000 was when Aoife M,  Claire B,  Rebecca K.  and Susan O'T.  battled it out with the rest of the Kilcoole Camogie Team against Newtown, for the title of the U-14 Shield.  Our girls returned to school with shield in hand, heads held high and medals in their pockets!  Well done to you all.

Congratulations to all our winners in the Pentel's International Children's Art Competition.

Lions International Peace Poster Competition Winner

I won the Lions International Peace Poster Competition.  I entered before Christmas.  I drew a picture of a world with four hands coloured in different colours to show that we are all the same.

National Parents Council Quiz

On February 24th eight girls from our school, St. Brigid's Girls' School in Kilcoole, travelled to the Arklow Bay Hotel to take part in the quiz.  We were divided into two teams of four.
Although neither of our teams won we had a great time and a very good final score!
