Cara's bags are packed in preparation for a trip across the Atlantic - all the way to Montana in the USA. We look forward to meeting teacher Phyllis Dorrington and her pupils in Fifth Grade in Central School, Helena. Cara (whose name means 'friend' in Gaelic) is travelling with lots of items that will give the children of Montana some idea of life here in Ireland. We will be following Cara's adventures here on this site.

At the same time, we look forward to meeting and befriending Chinook, a little bear from Helena. We promise to take very good care of him! We will enjoy bringing him on outings and involving him in our daily lives at school. Chinook's adventures in Ireland will also be placed on this site. Please watch this page for further details of this exciting exchange.

Chinook will arrive in our school in about a week. He arrives in Ireland this weekend and is taking a few days with Miss Nordell and her parents to tour some of our beautiful country. To meet him please click here!

Cara got quite a send off from the children in Fifth Class.
