Glinsk Song Contest 2004

CP Audio provided the Computerised Scoreboard software for the contest again in 2004. The event took place on Sunday, July 18th.

The winning entry, "Raider Of My Sleep", was composed and sung by Una Healy. Her song received 83 points, gaining the lead after the fourth adjudicator's scores had been added to the scoreboard. Second place went to "Imithe Gan Focal", composed and sung by Daithí O Loideáin, a single point behind on 82 points. Third place went to "Secretly Falling", written by Edward Reilly and Fergal Canterbury and sung by Edward Reilly, which received 78 points.

Second placed "Imithe Gan Focal" took the lead after the second adjudicator's scores had been added to the scoreboard with a 8 points from the first adjudicator and a maximum 10 points from the second. Both "Raider Of My Sleep" and "Imithe Gan Focal" scored consistently well thorughout in what turned out to be a two "song" race, but the former eventually won out with three maximum 10 points to add to two 9 points and two 8 points to become the eventual winner.Picture of the Glinsk Song Contest Scoreboard, and link to a larger image (111KBytes)
