17th - 21st February - Week 13
Quite a lot of work has been completed during the half term break and we can now see very clearly the size of the different rooms. On Thursday, it is hoped that the hardcore will start to be laid as a base for the concrete floor. The photo on the right shows one of the junior classrooms.
It was the turn of a terrifically enthusiastic Fourth Class to visit the site today, Wednesday. Once again, Joe met us and gave the children a lesson in the importance of Mathematics to the construction industry! Yes, everything is measured down to the smallest millimetre.
We even got a lesson on how to ensure that the building is level. After this, the children were given a tour of the site, and were shown each of the ground floor rooms.
