    Hardcore is now filling the school, leaving a gap at the top to allow for the concrete floor - it is hoped to cast the floor during the first week of March.

    Holes are being drilled in the blockwork to take the service pipes (left). We have to decide on the brick colour, so a small section has been built to give an idea of the final, finished look. Are these bricks too black/grey (right) - and therefore a little 'dead'? We were looking for a blue brick finish and these don't really fit the bill!





    Wednesday saw a return to rather wet, dull weather. In preparation for the casting of the floor slab, iron mesh has been delivered. This will give added strength to the floor, when the concrete is poured next week.
