Yes,
the floor of the first floor has been laid - I sneaked up the stairs and
took a few photos from above! This one shows the hall. The
shorter side of the hall has reached roof level. Block laying is very
weather dependant, and a few days are being lost due to the rain. The
next stage was to cast eight concrete pillars. These will stand in the courtyard and
give support to our new Science / Art room. Steel is now being fitted to the top of these pillars. The floor of the Science
/ Art Room
will then be positioned. Once the floor of First Floor is completed, block laying
of the next
storey will commence. All the internal blockwork of the Ground Floor (toilet
areas, kitchen
to the hall, etc.) has been completed.
