    17th - 21st March - Week 17



    This photo was taken towards the end of last week. As we await the brick layers tomorrow, it seemed appropriate to place it here. It shows a lone builder cutting an expansion joint in the floor.


    Bricks have been delivered in readiness for tomorrow (Wednesday).


    Note the difference in floor level in the picture on the right. It is our new hall, and as you can see, room has been left for the fitting of a wooden floor.

    As it turned out, building has been been delayed until Monday next. In the meantime, we brought Junior Infants out to the site and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We helped them on to the floor and showed them some of the materials used in building. They even saw their classroom for next year - well, they saw its floor anyway!
